Staged Readings

Staged readings have been a major staple of our work since 2003. We produce staged readings in order to create opportunities for playwrights to strengthen works-in-progress and to interface with directors, dramaturgs, actors, and audiences.

Staged readings also introduce new writers to Chicago theatregoers and theatremakers, help us “test run” plays we’re considering for full production, and provide a forum for plays that we like, but would not necessarily fully produce.

On this page we have archived our staged readings all the way from the beginning to the present.
