Say Gay Plays was an initiative of New York City's Voyage Theater Company aimed at countering harmful anti-LGBTQ legislation and rhetoric. The project involves the commissioning of short 10-minute plays by Queer playwrights and the production of royalty-free staged readings across the US.
The Midwest Premiere of Say Gay Plays was proudly presented by About Face Theatre, Silk Road Cultural Center, and Northeastern Illinois University.
